Dr Ronald Maligat

Dr Ronald Maligat has over 25 years of medical experience spanning the Philippines and Australia, with a long-standing commitment to general practice, occupational health and patient-centred care.
Dr Maligat began his medical career in the Philippines, completing extensive postgraduate training in medicine, public health, occupational medicine and health administration.
In 2007, he decided to pursue medicine full time in Australia, where he has built a career in general practice and occupational medicine. From 2008, he worked across Central Queensland, where he gained broad experience in rural and regional medicine, workplace health, injury management and preventive care. Dr Maligat became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2012.
More recently, Dr Maligat has continued general practice in the greater Brisbane area, with special interest in skin cancer medicine and surgical procedures, aesthetic medicine, and ongoing involvement in workplace health programs across Queensland.
Outside of work, he enjoys golf, beach-hopping and staying active through exercise.
