Medical certificates

Evercare’s medical team can provide medical certificates to allow patients to easily and efficiently get the documentation you need. If you are an existing Evercare patient who has seen your doctor in the past 12 months, you can simply request a medical certificate through the Evercare app or arrange a telehealth appointment directly. This allows you to access a professional medical certificate from the comfort of your own home when you aren’t well, from a doctor and care team who knows you. When a medical certificate is issued it will be immediately accessible from the document section in your app and you have control to easily forwarded this on as required.

Skin checks

Regular skin checks are vital in maintaining your overall health. Doctors at Evercare offer comprehensive skin check services to help you stay vigilant against skin-related concerns. Whether you’re seeking a routine examination from a GP you trust or have a specific skin issue, our care team can provide thorough assessments. Skin checks are crucial in detecting early signs of skin cancer and other dermatological conditions. If you have a skin concern, don’t hesitate in making a GP appointment right away.

Mental health

Mental health has a significant impact on overall well-being, and several GPs at Evercare have a special interest in providing mental health consultations to patients. We are also able to offer longer appointment times for mental health concerns. You can book an appointment for mental health directly through the app or phone our friendly concierge who will help you with your specific needs.

Minor surgery

Minor surgical procedures are an important part of healthcare that our doctors and care team offer at Evercare. Our skilled GPs are experienced in performing minor surgical procedures and have the support of a nurse in our treatment rooms onsite at our Clayfield clinic. Whether it’s the removal of skin lesions, suturing wounds, or other minor surgical interventions, your doctor and care team at Evercare are ready to provide you with the care you need. Please note that some medical procedures may incur an additional charge and you will be notified about this in advance.

Vaccines

Vaccines are an important tool to maintain optimal health. Our experienced doctors are well-equipped to provide you with accurate information about recommended vaccinations based on your age, health status, and lifestyle factors. Whether it’s the flu vaccine to safeguard against seasonal influenza, travel vaccines for an upcoming holiday or routine vaccinations to prevent diseases like measles, mumps, and rubella, we’re here to ensure you have access to the preventive care you need. Flu vaccines for 2024 are available now. Private vaccines are also available, ask us about the relevant costs.

Baseline health check

Evercare offers each patient a baseline health check when you join so that we can be fully across your health requirements and have formal records of key measurements (like your blood pressure, resting pulse etc) to refer to. This record allows our GPs to stay across all of your health needs as they get to know you and to best understand your specific requirements.

Please note that some medical procedures (such as iron infusions, compounding scripts, medicinal cannabis prescriptions and consultations, private vaccinations, Mirena removals and wound dressings) may incur an additional charge and you will be notified about these in advance.

How to access GP services at Evercare

We provide a range of options allowing you to engage with your doctor and care team on your terms.

Make appointments

No matter where you are, you can easily make an appointment for you or a dependent via the Evercare app. At the time of booking you can easily see the next available appointment for your selected GP or if their timings don’t match yours, see another member of our Care Team as soon as today (Monday – Friday) who will be able to access your medical history to ensure you continue to receive the best treatment. Consultations with your GP are charged at the standard Medicare rate and will be reimbursed directly from Medicare within 24-48 hours.

Message a medical professional

If you simply have a question, you can contact a medical professional through the Evercare app from 7:30am – 7:30pm through our message feature. This messaging capability is perfect if you want to ask advice about whether an appointment is required.

Telehealth doctors appointment

Telehealth appointments are available as standard to existing patients who have seen their doctor in person in the last 12 months and patients will receive a full Medicare rebate for these appointments. Simply select telehealth at the time of your booking to view available telehealth times with your GP.

Access your medical documents

Evercare makes it easy to securely access your medical documents whether that be a prescription, a medical certificate, a referral letter or your pathology results. All files will be available directly in your Evercare app so that you can access them anytime, anywhere at the tap of a screen and select your next steps to share as needed.

These services are all available through Evercare for a low monthly fee which provides you with fast access to your selected doctor, a care team to support you and use of the Evercare app. Members can cancel at anytime. Find out more.
