Your health doesn’t always fit into one appointment.
A single short appointment can’t always get to the bottom of things, and it shouldn’t have to.
Sometimes you need a follow-up. Sometimes another question comes up tomorrow. Sometimes you’re simply not getting better.
We don’t want the cost of booking another appointment to make you think twice about getting the care you need.
That’s why your Evercare fee covers 30 days of care, rather than a single visit. You can come back for standard GP appointments as often as you need, without another out-of-pocket consultation cost.
Stay with us, or pause when you don’t need us.
Evercare doesn’t have to be a year-round commitment.
At the end of your 30 days, you can continue your membership and keep enjoying your Evercare benefits.
Continuous membership also secures your place with your chosen GP, whose patient list is capped so they have more time and availability for the people they care for.
If you don’t need us for a while, you can pause your membership and reactivate when you do. A $20 reactivation fee applies when you return, and access to your previous GP will depend on availability.
Are there any additional costs?
Standard appointments at Evercare are covered by your membership, but some procedures, consumables and specialised services have an additional fee.
These include:
- iron infusions
- compounding scripts
- medicinal cannabis prescriptions and consultations
- private vaccinations
- dressings
- skin biopsies
- menopause and perimenopause health assessments
- ear syringing
- pregnancy tests
- Mirena insertions and removals.
Treatment room fees will apply for consumables and will vary depending on the procedure and/or dressing size.

How Medicare rebates work
While standard GP consultations at Evercare have no out-of-pocket cost for eligible Medicare card holders, you will still see an appointment charge on your nominated card. Here’s how it works.
At each standard appointment, the Medicare consultation fee is charged to your card. A consult fee can typically range from $42 to $300 depending on the length and type of your appointment. If you’re eligible for a Medicare rebate, the full amount is then reimbursed by Medicare directly to your nominated bank account, usually within 24–48 hours.
Your final out-of-pocket cost for standard GP appointments is $0.
Please take a look at some of the common appointment types so you can be prepared for the fee you will pay at the time of your appointment. (Standard appointment fees will be reimbursed).
What if I don’t have Medicare?
You can still become an Evercare member.
Patients without Medicare pay the applicable consultation fee at each appointment and can often claim from their private or international health insurer where eligible.
Your Evercare membership still gives you access to the other benefits of being an Evercare patient.
Does Telehealth cost more?
Existing Evercare patients, who have seen their GP face to face in the last 12 months, can use telehealth when it suits them, for no additional fees.
If you have not had an appointment with your chosen doctor in the last 12 months, and you choose to have your first appointment via telehealth, you will not be eligible for Medicare rebates and you will have out-of-pocket costs (generally $42.85).
If you want to avoid the out of pocket cost, we recommend making your first appointment in-clinic so that you can be validated for telehealth Medicare rebates in the future.
