What does Evercare cost?

There are two components to Evercare’s fees:

1. A membership fee (between $10-$45): This gives you fast access to your GP, unlimited consultations for 30 days (which are 100% reimbursed by Medicare), extended hours access to medical professionals, access to documents, scripts and more in the Evercare app and use of a state of the art medical centre for the whole month. You can pause this membership at any time.

2. The appointment fee: Your Doctor will charge you a fee for each consultation, which is equal to the scheduled Medicare benefit (in person or via telehealth or phone). This fee will be refunded in full by Medicare (provided you are eligible for Medicare) leaving you with no out of pocket fees.

This model provides you with fast access to a doctor, continuity of care and enables you see your doctor and care team whenever you need, without putting your healthcare on hold. It allows you to develop a real relationship with a GP who caps their patient numbers so they always have time for you.

If you only see a GP once or twice a year and don’t require access to a regular GP, you can simply pause your membership at any time and reactivate it when you need. Please note, that only continuous membership will guarantee your place on your chosen doctor’s patient list.

Your monthly fee includes unlimited consultations with your chosen GP (and no gap fees), telehealth and in person appointments, care team support and the Evercare app to manage your health.  You can easily add children to your membership too so your whole family can access fast, quality family medical care.

  • Adults: $45 a month
  • Children (under 18):
    • When added to an active adult account: $10 a month
    • When added without an active adult account: $22 a month
  • Adult dependent (over 18): $35 a month
  • Concession card holders*: $35 a month

*Concession cards can be a Pensioner Concession Card, a Commonwealth Seniors Health Card or a Health Care Card. The concession card must be presented for verification in clinic.

 

Appointment pricing:

At the time of your appointment, you will be charged a consultation fee which is equal to the amount of the Medicare rebate. This fee will vary depending on the length and type of your appointment. This amount will be charged to the card you have nominated in your Evercare app and will be reimbursed directly to you from Medicare within 24 -48 hours (to the bank account you have provided Medicare), leaving you with no-gap fees for consultations.

A consult can typically range from $41 to $300 depending on the type and length of appointment. Please take a look at some of the common appointment types so you can be prepared for the fee you will pay at the time of your appointment (which will be reimbursed).

Please note that some medical procedures may incur an additional charge and you will be notified about these in advance.

Unless you’re already telehealth eligible with your selected GP, you will need to come into the clinic for your first appointment and to complete a Baseline Health Check. (If you would prefer to have your first appointment via telehealth and want to access this for an out of pocket charge, we have that option available too).

For our Family knowing that I am going to be able to get an appointment on the day that I am needing is a big one for me, I will probably be more inclined to seek medical advice sooner. Also the one off payment each month is beneficial, what we pay a month for the 5 of us at the moment is less than what we would be charged for a general appointment at another clinic.

A better service, more caring, multiple options to see the GP, shorter lead times and now being on a subscription I’ll attend the GP more regularly. Will cut down the timeframe for minor issues like scripts etc
