Born and raised in Brisbane, Dr Stephen Bryce graduated from the University of Queensland in 1990. He began his career as a remote area GP, spending eight years in Aboriginal Health in East Arnhem Land, NT. There, he was involved in aeromedical evacuations, mentoring junior doctors, creating educational resources, and even editing a community newspaper.
Since then, Dr Bryce has worked in a variety of GP roles across North Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, and Sydney’s Northern Beaches, including time with an online mental health platform. He enjoys all aspects of general practice, with special interests in Skin Cancer Medicine, Mental Health, and Men’s Health. He also performs minor procedures such as iron infusions, Implanon insertions, and skin lesion removals.
Doctor Bryce is based at Evercare Clayfield and will be doing some locum work throughout February and March 2026 at Evercare Redcliffe.
Dr Bryce’s particular interest areas include:
- Skin cancer medicine, including skin lesion removals
- Mental health
- Men’s health
- Iron infusions
- Implanon insertions
- Family healthcare
