Dr Viplove Sharma is a dedicated GP who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to patients of all ages and backgrounds. Originally from a small town in Canada, he completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences in Ontario before moving to Australia to undertake his medical degree (MBBS) at the University of Queensland.
He has embraced the unique challenges and rewards of rural practice, working in Katherine in the Northern Territory where he has developed strong clinical independence and a focus on delivering whole‑of‑community patient care.
Dr Sharma enjoys the breadth and variety of general practice – from chronic disease management and mental health to skin cancer medicine and occupational health. He enjoys building long‑term patient relationships and providing continuity of care.
