Maddy Lagerroth - Evercare PodiatristMeet our Podiatrist

Maddy Lagerroth graduated from QUT as a Podiatrist in 2013 and has more than a decade of experience caring for patients with foot, skin and nail conditions.

With additional qualifications including a Diploma in General Dermatology and a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology), Maddy brings a broader perspective to podiatry, combining her knowledge of dermatology with a compassionate understanding of mental health to provide an adaptable, individual approach to care.

Maddy has a special interest in the dermatological presentation of infections, inflammatory conditions and autoimmune disorders affecting the feet and lower limbs. She is also interested in the relationship between mental health, the immune system and skin health, and how these factors can influence a patient’s overall health and treatment.

Care for thickened or difficult-to-manage nails, calluses, hard skin and other common foot concerns, including reduction of thickened nails and removal of areas of hard skin.

Treatment for painful or recurring ingrown toenails, from conservative care and nail reshaping through to nail surgery when required.

Fungal infections, warts and skin conditions
Assessment and treatment of fungal, bacterial and viral infections, warts and skin conditions affecting the feet and lower limbs, including psoriasis, dermatitis, eczema and lichen planus.

Assessment and treatment of fungal, damaged, thickened or abnormal nails, with diagnostic testing, pathology and drill reduction available where appropriate.

Assessment of foot health, circulation and sensation, including diabetic foot assessments and vascular and neuropathy screening, with ongoing monitoring and reporting to your GP where appropriate.

Skin and nail samples can be collected for pathology when required. Maddy can also work with your GP and other healthcare providers to investigate concerns, coordinate treatment and provide reporting where appropriate.

Muscskeletal Pathology
Maddy can also offer diagnosis and therapeutic treatment plans for acute or chronic painful foot and ankle pathology, including footwear advice. This may include plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonopathy or forefoot nerve entrapment.

Podiatry fees

Evercare members receive reduced fees on Podiatry appointments and services.

If you’re new to Evercare, you’ll pay $45 upfront (or less for concession/kids) and receive the reduced member price for your Podiatry appointments for the next 30 days. You’ll also get access to standard GP appointments with no gap fees for the duration. At the end of the 30 days you can continue enjoying these benefits each month or pause until you need us again.

Podiatry fees are payable at the time of your appointment and will be charged to your payment method on file.
