Dr. Walsh has been working as a General Practitioner (GP) for the past 19 years, expanding on his previous careers as a pharmacist and a police officer. After graduating as a doctor, Dr Walsh completed his country training and served as the Director of Clinical Training at the Mater Hospital Brisbane before dedicating the last decade of his career to serving as a GP in the Clayfield area.
Outside his GP schedule, Dr. Walsh enjoys spending time with his blended family including his three children, his wife and her two children. His down time from work is spent relaxing with family and friends, attending kids sport’s games and supporting his favourite football team, St George!
Dr. Walsh has also experienced his own health challenges, having been diagnosed and treated for prostate cancer five years ago. This personal experience has given him a deeper understanding of his patient’s struggles and has fueled his passion for providing the best possible care to his patients.
With a keen interest in all areas of general practice, Dr Walsh is particularly passionate about men’s health and mental health.

Consultation fees are 100% reimbursed by Medicare.
