Dr Kate Lawrence

Dr Lawrence graduated from the University of Wollongong in 2018. Since graduation, she has worked at the Gold Coast University Hospital, the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital and a number of regional locations. Dr Lawrence completed her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practice in Jan 2023 and has most recently worked at Bowen Hills Medical Centre.
Dr Lawrence enjoys all aspects of general practice and particularly enjoys helping patients with their mental health, skin cancer medicine, chronic disease management and can do iron infusions and Implanon insertions.
Before completing her medical training, Dr Lawrence worked as an Occupational Therapist in Central Queensland. On her time off, she enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her husband, young son and dog.
Dr Lawrence’s particular interest areas include:
- women’s health
- chronic disease management
- mental health
- skin cancer medicine, including skin checks & excisions
- iron infusions
