Do I get charged for each consultation?

Through Evercare, your doctor will not charge you out-of-pocket costs for standard consultations. What this means is at the time of your appointment (in clinic or telehealth) your doctor will invoice you the Medicare rebate amount and your credit card will be charged. Medicare will then reimburse this cost in full (to the bank account you have provided them), generally within 24-48 hours – provided you are eligible for the service. Additional costs may apply if you require specialised care (eg. midwifery), complex in clinic procedures or extensive use of consumables (bandages etc).
